Madame Mayor,
I am writing to inform you that I am resigning effective immediately from my seat in the 6th precinct.
Neither my resignation, nor the timing thereof, constitutes an acknowledgement / admission of any unprofessional behavior and instead is tendered solely to put the City of Albion and its citizens first and to prevent personal differences of opinion between and among Councilmembers from interfering with City Council business.
It has been an honor to serve the people in my district.
