Tom McClure sent City Watch the following statement:
I, Thomas J McClure will run for 3rd precinct city council seat in the next city election.
He went on to say:
“My father Jack H. McClure served on council and two terms as mayor. He passed away while he was still mayor. My dad married Lois Frick and she became not only my first grade teacher but my stepmom. Lois would also serve as mayor.”
McClure attended todays trial of Mayor Snyder and made statements of disgust during and after the meeting. He and current 3rd precinct council member Nora Jackson had an exchange of words after the meeting regarding his disappointment with her. He stated as he left he was considering running.
