Albion Mayor Convicted by 4-2 Vote of City Council – Public Still Wonders Why

I plan to have a more detailed story in the coming week, but I wanted to get this out to all who may not have heard. Later today I will have the Mayors complete statements. As I sat listening to four members of the council stammer and stutter their way through their scripts, which obviously were given to them moments before the meeting, one thing came to mind. They needed more rehearsal time. I would have laughed out loud if the meeting hadn’t been so serious.

The outcome of this meeting, as reported by City Watch prior, and everything we have written since came true. What surprised no one was the level of incompetence displayed by these four people. Nora Jackson, Precinct 3 council member, as Mayor pro tempore, led the meeting. Her rumored willingness to run for Mayor in 2024 was not helped by the embarrassing way she went through the meeting today. Causing laughter from the audience.

Most in attendance were in support of the Mayor.

Mayor Snyder, being sworn in, she along with far left 6th Precinct Andy French, beside him 5th Precinct Vivian Davis were the only ones of council that spoke any truth today.

Again, more will be shared later this week; I just wanted to get out to the public about the four council members behind this attempt to take over Albion.
