Saturday evening two different situations occurred after the festival are still under investigation according to Chief and Acting City Manager Scott Kipp. The first situation that was reported at 6:30 P.M., Click on this link for press release from Albion Department of Public Safety (ADPS). The second happened near Clark Street at 7:34 P.M., Click on here for press release from ADPS.

City Watch reached out to Chief Kipp this morning asking for an update. Kipp stated in a text that the investigation is ongoing in both cases, but he said, suspects have been identified but are not in custody as of yet.
He stated they are always looking for information and if anyone wishes to reach out to Det. Sgt. Wigant at 517-629-7824, their help would be appreciated. If you wish to remain anonymous you can call Silent Observer at 517-619-2700.
City Watch reporters were on scene and observed police officers from around the region, including Battle Creek, Tribal Police, City of Marshall Police, Calhoun County Sheriff, State Police and Michigan Department of Natural Resources were identified. A call went out during the first situation asking for help and these officers responded to assist.
