On Saturday June 11 Albion experienced the first in what will hopefully be many more to come, Black Squirrel music festivals. The idea is the brainchild of Albion Malleable co-owner Ben Wade. Wade as reported in our story from last week (click here for link to story) was looking forward to the event and bringing Blue Grass music to Albion.

The day began with The Wallens taking the stage at noon.

They would be followed by the Water Street Wranglers, The Mark Lavengood Band and closing out the daylong event headliner Chain Station.

City Watch NEWS was on hand conducting short interviews of all the bands via Facebook live prior to all of them going on stage. If the crowd response means anything, the day was great.
