Where: Full Blast Auditorium, 35 W. Hamblin Ave. in Battle Creek
When: Monday, May 23, from 6-7 p.m.
Background: The Michigan House Democratic Caucus conducted a statewide survey of Michiganders this year to gauge concerns regarding infrastructure needs. The federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act was signed into law in mid-November and promises to deliver billions of dollars to Michigan that will help us make large-scale positive investments and create good-paying jobs.
Through this listening tour, Rep. Haadsma and his colleagues will collect feedback on how our federal infrastructure dollars should be spent from constituents across the state, and partner with state and local officials and with industry experts to turn their input into action to rebuild Michigan.
